All lesson locations will be determined 48 hours after booking. Lessons may either take place one of four ways: In person at my home, in person at your home, at a local studio in the Sacramento area or virtually online via Zoom, Google Meets, or Microsoft Teams. If we decide that your lesson will take place at your home, you must have a working piano (electric or acoustic) and a music stand or surface to look at your sheet music. Please know that I will only travel within an approximate 50 mile radius from the Sacramento region. If you would like for me to come to you there will be a small travel fee to accommodate coming to you. If you have a preference in location please indicate where when booking. Pending preference of studios in the Sacramento area may have differences in rental rates, room fee may be added to the lesson charge with notice.

In lessons, I focus my attention on technical adjustments that allow for a more free and embodied sound to be released. I accompany all vocalises but I do not accompany repertoire. It is requested that you bring tracks to sing with or bring an accompanist if you so choose. Most accompanists charge about $10-$15 per track pending complexity of accompaniment (Sondheim, Guettel, etc). You can usually find an instrumental track on YouTube, too. If you need contacts for these services, please let me know and I am happy to forward you to some wonderful accompanists. A third party accompanist may be brought into lessons to accompany the repertoire portion of the lesson for a separate fee (most accompanists rates are between $25-$30 for 30 minutes). If you are interested in bringing in an accompanist to lessons but do not have access to an accompanist, please notify me.
